I had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage nestled amongst the trees. The decoration was charming and made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained, and the peaceful atmosphere allowed me to relax and enjoy nature. The cottage's accessibility was great for a senior like me, with easy parking and clear pathways. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed during my stay. It was a delightful experience to wake up to the sounds of birds chirping and enjoy the beautiful view from the balcony. Truly a tranquil retreat for a senior getaway.
The only thing I would ask for is a better selection of activities specifically tailored for seniors.

The value for money was excellent and the room was comfortable and cozy. The location was convenient, close to town but still peaceful and secluded. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The morning meal could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The cottages at Great Ocean Road Cottages in Lorne are simply cozy and inviting. The open plan layout and fully furnished main room create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I loved spending time on the full width verandah, enjoying the beautiful surroundings. With a TV, DVD player, and air conditioning in each room, it felt like a home away from home. Plus, having a kettle in the room was a nice touch for a cup of tea whenever I wanted.
I personally didn't love the seating area in certain units. But hey, that's just my preference.

Stayed here for the weekend and had a fantastic time. Loved the unique feature of the ladders leading to the upper room, my kids had a blast climbing up and down. The location up in the hills offered breathtaking views of the coast and the peacefulness was truly special. Also, the well-stocked kitchenette and comfy beds were a pleasant surprise.
The only downside was the steep hill if you walk back to the cottage, but that's more of a fitness challenge than a complaint. a great stay and would definitely come back again.

The location was fantastic, with stunning views of the coast and a peaceful atmosphere. I also loved the ladders that led to the upper platform/room and the opportunity to bond with my son during the mother/son activity.
Felt really welcomed, no complaints.

Lovely setting amongst gum trees, short walk to town. Owner waited for us even though we were late. Wish we could have stayed longer. Very clean cottage with kitchenette. Good WiFi. Kids loved the loft. Great restaurants nearby. Supermarket downstairs. Tranquil and beautiful surroundings.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Nestled in stunning woodlands, these self contained cottages were mind-blowing! The clean and well-equipped cottages had everything we needed, from comfortable beds to a powerful split cooling/heating unit. The balcony space was perfect for our 8 year old, and the location was super convenient, with shops and attractions within walking distance. The friendly staff gave us great recommendations for nearby places to visit. It was a jaw-dropping experience and we can't wait to go back!

I had an amazing stay at this lovely property! The location is convenient and the surroundings are filled with beautiful birds, flowers, and trees. The property itself feels like a resort, with each guest getting their own room in a cozy two-story house. The simplicity of the room was just what I needed, with a comfortable bed and a small table. The strong WiFi signal was a bonus, and having a kitchen available for cooking meals saved me a lot of money on dining out. The property manager was helpful in providing a key code, and there was a grocery store within walking distance for supplies. I am very satisfied with my experience.

The value for money at this place was great, considering the affordable prices and the fresh and renovated units. We loved the location and the amazing views of the coast from the cottages. The staff, especially Paki, were incredibly enthusiastic and couldn't do enough to help us.
For breakfast, it would have been better if there were more options available, like a wider variety of dishes to choose from.
